Panic Syndrome Symptoms Can Be Reduced And Treated
Panic syndrome is a condition that can be difficult to define. There is often no clear reason why anyone should suddenly feel so scared that they're not able to do what they originally intended. The panic symptoms really do exist, medical science has succeeded in associating several causes that will worsen the affects to a person, but the precise reason that produces panic attack feelings have yet to be identified. Temporary treatment is usually in the form of drugs that can give relief to most people for a short time. Some new medical research indicates that there are treatments which offer a longer term successful cure.
When reoccurring panic attacks persist over an extended period of time, the periodic attacks become a syndrome. Isolated panic attacks can happen to everyone, particularly if there is a situation exist that give good reason to feel panic at that time, but when the attacks occur for no apparent reason, & at regular intervals, it's a sure indication that a basic problem exists. For those with these type symptoms, try to reduce symptoms as much as possible, while at the same time searching for a cure together.
Often when panic symptoms persist and are difficult to control, there are most likely caused by the consumption or use of some food, drink or drug. These may be from using one or more of stimulants & sedatives, for example caffeine, alcohol, nicotine, or recreational drugs. The panic symptoms can also be caused by an excess of toxins from a diet of food with low nutritional value. A life style that includes personal habits that contribute these type inputs to the body can be from smoking, excessive consumption of alcohol and a fast food diet. The obvious solution would be to make a transition to a more healthy way of life. However, this is advise that may not be well received by the user, despite well intentioned counsel. Unhealthy habits are easier to develop that they are to quit.
There are readily available methods that will cleanse the body of unhealthy toxins by natural resources. This would be a good start to getting treatment for drugs or alcohol. If drugs are required to maintain a normal life, it might be possible to get by with a lower dosage. There are several medications that can treat panic attacks, but many of them are tranquilizers with severe side effects. Developing a dependency from these soothing type drugs might be just as harmful or even more so than the original condition.
The root cause for panic syndrome is often more a mental type problem that is aggravated by external factors. There isn't much hope for the symptoms to be stopped permanently, unless you can professional help that will find the root cause. Some forms of psychological counseling have proven to reduce symptoms. Hypnotic therapy has the ability to take your mind back in time to where adverse situations may have occurred. Only by isolating & eliminating the original problem can you hope to cure the long-term panic disorder.
